RHOSLC: Mary Cosby’s Son Robert Jr Enters Rehab for Recovery

Robert Cosby Jr., the son of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City (RHOSLC) star Mary Cosby, is currently receiving treatment at an inpatient facility, according to The U.S. Sun.

The 21-year-old made a brief appearance on the September 25 episode of the Bravo show, but new information reveals that Robert Jr. has not been living in his mother’s Utah mansion for some time.

Records obtained by The U.S. Sun indicate that Robert Jr. tested positive for cocaine, Fentanyl, and THC after completing a drug test in May. Following this, Robert’s legal situation took a turn over the summer when his attorney informed a judge—who was overseeing his 2022 DUI case—that Robert was unable to attend court due to his admission to an inpatient treatment facility in California.

Robert Jr. had been scheduled to appear in court in Salt Lake City on August 15. However, after he failed to show, his legal team notified the court of his ongoing treatment and requested a postponement of the hearing. The court granted the request and rescheduled the hearing for October 10.

While details about the exact nature of Robert’s treatment or the facility he’s in remain undisclosed, his struggles with drug use are not new to RHOSLC fans. In 2023, photos surfaced online showing Robert Jr. engaging in drug use, alongside his wife, Alexiana.

The couple had shared multiple posts on social media flaunting their drug use, which included marijuana, prescription codeine syrup, and unidentified pills. Many of the images depicted Robert Jr. posing with items such as “codeine prescription bottles, promethazine hydrochloride cough syrup, and cups of a ‘purple drink.’” The photos appeared to have been taken inside Mary Cosby’s Utah mansion.
