RHONY’s Erin Lichy Opens Up About Husband Abe’s ‘Betrayal’ and Gets Emotional Over Marriage Struggles in Season 15

Erin Lichy’s marital struggles with her husband, Abe Lichy, are front and center in a new preview for The Real Housewives of New York City (RHONY) season 15, setting the stage for a season full of drama.

As RHONY kicks off its explosive 15th season, one of the most talked-about storylines is Erin Lichy’s rocky relationship with her husband, Abe Lichy. The trailer hinted at some “unexpected issues” between Erin and Abe, with the theme of “betrayal” being a key focus throughout the season.

Now, viewers are getting their first glimpse of the unfolding drama in a preview for episode two.

In this sneak peek, Erin opens up about her marriage while visiting a high-end wig shop with her mother, who has recently been diagnosed with cancer. Ubah Hassan joins them, offering her support. As Erin, 37, tries on wigs, she reveals the tension in her marriage.

“We had an issue. I haven’t told anyone,” Erin admits.

She continues, “I really needed him to be there for me, especially with everything happening with my mom. But he just piled on more. There were things I didn’t know about.”

Erin goes on to explain how Abe made decisions without discussing them with her, which added to the burden she was already carrying while dealing with her mom’s illness. “The truth came out at the worst possible time. I couldn’t lean on him because he betrayed me, and I was furious. It just added so much more stress,” Erin reveals, visibly emotional.

Throughout the preview, Ubah stands by Erin’s side, listening and offering comfort. However, in her confessional, Ubah admits that it’s difficult to fully support Erin without knowing the complete picture of her situation.

Despite the turmoil and tension highlighted in season 15, Erin recently assured fans that her marriage with Abe is still strong. During a Q&A on Instagram, a fan asked about the state of their relationship, saying, “Are you guys OK? I definitely care more than I should…”

Erin responded warmly, “Yes, cutie, we’re OK.”

Erin and Abe, who have been married for 12 years, share three children. Their journey continues to unfold on The Real Housewives of New York City, airing Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
