Margaret Josephs Expresses Discontent Over the ‘Mob Mentality’ Targeting Tamra Judge

Tamra Judge is no stranger to controversy, but this season of The Real Housewives of Orange County has brought her into particularly hot water. Fortunately, she has found a supportive ally in Real Housewives of New Jersey star Margaret Josephs, who is speaking out against the intense backlash Tamra has faced.

Margaret, who knows all too well what it’s like to endure criticism from fans, expressed her concern over the reactions Tamra has received. “This is a TV show,” she reminded listeners during an appearance on her castmate Melissa Gorga’s podcast, On Display. The two discussed Tamra’s recent struggles, particularly focusing on the fallout from an explosive on-air altercation.

The drama unfolded after a heated exchange between Tamra and RHOC castmate Jenn Pedranti’s fiancé, Ryan Boyajian. Tamra had made public accusations against Ryan, suggesting that he was involved in a financial scandal. Though Tamra later apologized, the damage to her reputation was already done, and fans were not quick to forgive.

Margaret, however, believes that the reaction from the audience has gone too far. “The attacks are a little too much. I understand this is a TV show. I think people don’t realize that everyone can have their opinion, but when it gets down to suing and attacking, and the aggression—it upsets me and it hurts my heart,” Margaret said.

She continued, “This is mob mentality. It’s a gang-up, and it’s upsetting me. I don’t like it.”

Beyond the court of public opinion, Tamra now faces potential legal consequences. In September, Ryan announced that he had hired an attorney and initiated a lawsuit against her. This escalation has added even more pressure to an already tense situation.

Margaret made her feelings clear on the matter, saying, “I don’t like that. I’m not saying people don’t have the right to defend themselves, and you can argue it out on the show or whatever it is, but it’s getting—it’s too much. I don’t like it. I just don’t like that. Listen, our show was as dark as they come, and it didn’t even get to that level [of suing one another].”

As the drama continues to unfold, The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo, with fans eagerly watching to see how Tamra navigates these turbulent waters.
