RHOSLC’s Whitney Rose Reveals ‘Brave’ Daughter Bobbie, 14, in ICU After ‘Stressful’ Health Scare

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Whitney Rose has provided a heartfelt update about her 14-year-old daughter, Bobbie’s, ongoing health struggles.

“Thank you to everyone who has continued to reach out and check in on Bobbie Rose,” Whitney, 38, wrote on her Instagram Story on Tuesday, October 8. “We are still in the ICU, but she has finally seen a bit of improvement. She still has a long way to go, so no official updates yet.”

Whitney expressed deep gratitude to the friends and fans who have supported her family during this challenging time, including her husband, Justin Rose, and their 11-year-old son, Brooks.

“Thank you for all of your prayers; they are felt and working,” she continued. “Thank you for understanding our desire for privacy at this time, as you can imagine this has been very stressful. Bobbie is so brave and strong. Thank you to everyone here [at] Primary Children’s Hospital. You all are earth angels!”

Whitney initially revealed the situation in a social media post on Monday, October 7, explaining that Bobbie was taken to the ICU by ambulance due to a severe asthma exacerbation. She described her daughter as “resilient, talented, caring, and responsible.”

Justin, 55, also shared a video on Instagram on Sunday, October 6, showing Bobbie being transported into an ambulance on a stretcher. He wrote, “Thoughts and prayers for our baby girl today. Struggling with her breathing.”

Fans were first introduced to Whitney and her family when she debuted on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City in November 2020. Since then, she has shared glimpses of her family life on Bravo, showcasing her close bond with Justin and their journey together.

“Look at what he supported me through with my own family, my dad, my healing journey, just being a housewife, starting my businesses [and] my kids,” she shared in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly in September 2023. “I mean, he’s so supportive.”

Earlier this summer, Whitney and Justin took a break from the reality TV drama to enjoy a special vacation with their children before the new school year began. The family of four set sail on a Royal Caribbean cruise aboard the Wonder of the Seas, where they soaked in the ocean breeze and made unforgettable memories.

“Our latest adventure, Western Caribbean cruise,” Whitney captioned a family photo on Instagram on July 1. “I am not much of a cruiser, but I have to say that it was pretty incredible with this crew 🫶. Fun fact, we launched sōl people from the ocean 🌊 ☀️#familyvacation #blessed #rhoslc #abundance.”

Whitney’s candid updates and gratitude show the strength of her family as they navigate this difficult chapter. Fans and well-wishers continue to offer their thoughts and prayers for Bobbie’s recovery, standing by the Rose family in their time of need.
