RHOC Cast Reveals Fear of Tamra Judge, Gretchen Rossi Calls Her the ‘Cancer of the Show’

Tamra Judge has been a lightning rod for controversy this season on The Real Housewives of Orange County, and it’s not just the viewers who are upset with her behavior. Even those closest to her have taken to social media to share their thoughts, with many openly criticizing the reality star.

Recently, former RHOC star Gretchen Rossi teamed up with Tamra’s ex-best friend, Vicki Gunvalson, and the two had plenty to say about Tamra’s behavior. Gretchen didn’t hold back during the conversation, even referring to Tamra as “the cancer of the show.”

The outspoken blonde revealed that she’s been in touch with several of Tamra’s castmates, who have confided in her that they are “afraid” of Tamra.

Tamra, known for her sharp tongue and unfiltered remarks, has never shied away from confronting others, including her own friends. This season, Shannon Beador has found herself in the crosshairs, as Tamra has directed much of her criticism toward the 60-year-old.

Tamra’s comments about Shannon’s continued drinking after her DUI arrest could have garnered support from viewers. However, this time, the audience wasn’t on her side. Many felt that Shannon, already struggling with issues involving Alexis Bellino and John Janssen, didn’t deserve to be targeted while she was down. Yet, Tamra continued to press the issue, leading fans to accuse her of going too far.

Gretchen Rossi Brands Tamra Judge as ‘the Cancer of the Show’

During a recent episode of My Friend, My Soulmate, My Podcast, Gretchen joined Vicki Gunvalson and co-host Christian Gray Snow to discuss Tamra. Gretchen shared her perspective on Tamra’s tactics, accusing her of focusing on others’ drama to shift attention away from her own life.

“She knows how to play that game well,” noted the RHOC alum, pointing out that Tamra is a producer’s ideal cast member because she’s “willing to do and say anything” to stay relevant. “I’ve always said Tamra’s like the cancer of the show,” Gretchen continued, arguing that Tamra’s presence makes it difficult for the other cast members to be their authentic selves.

Tamra’s Castmates Are ‘Afraid’ of Her, Says Gretchen

Gretchen and Vicki went on to discuss the atmosphere among the current RHOC cast, noting that many of Tamra’s fellow Housewives are reluctant to challenge her, fearing her backlash.

“I feel like those women—because they’ve said it to me—are afraid of her,” shared Gretchen. “Some of them maybe aren’t, but the ones I’ve talked to have said that they are.”

Gretchen expressed concern that this dynamic is detrimental to the show’s authenticity. “You’re never going to have a truly authentic show when you’re afraid of somebody like that,” she added.
