RHOSLC Star Meredith Marks Unveils Stunning $35K-a-Month Rental Mansion with Breathtaking Mountain Views

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Meredith Marks has upgraded her living situation for the filming of Season 5 of the hit Bravo show. The 52-year-old, along with her husband Seth Marks and their children, Brooks and Chloe, moved into a stunning $7.5 million mansion in Park City, Utah. This luxurious property, where the family is renting for $35,000 per month, serves as the backdrop for the latest season’s drama-filled episodes.

While it’s unclear exactly when the Marks family moved in, property records obtained by The U.S. Sun reveal that the listing was removed in January 2024 after they settled into the home. Filming for the new season began in early February, with the show airing its premiere last month. The property was then listed for rent again in June, following the wrap-up of filming, which typically spans three to four months.

A Mountain Retreat with Modern Flair

Situated on 2.33 acres overlooking snow-capped mountains, the contemporary retreat offers over 7,000 square feet of space. As featured on RHOSLC, the home boasts four bedrooms, five bathrooms, and expansive floor-to-ceiling windows that capture the breathtaking mountain views.

Inside, there’s a designated office space, two dining areas, and a cozy den. The kitchen, where Meredith was seen crafting her signature bath bombs, features high-end appliances, granite countertops, and ample storage. Guests can gather around the fireplace while awaiting meals, adding a touch of warmth and intimacy to the space.

Outside, Meredith and her family enjoy the property’s many amenities, including a spacious patio equipped with a gas grill, a fire pit, and a hot tub—perfect for enjoying the crisp mountain air. An oversized three-car garage offers plenty of room for storing outdoor gear and easy access to nearby ski trails and mountain adventures.

The Choice to Rent: Meredith’s Perspective

Meredith’s decision to rent rather than buy a home has often sparked discussion on RHOSLC. She has addressed this choice multiple times, emphasizing her focus on flexibility and lifestyle over homeownership.

“In terms of affording a house, we are living a lifestyle where we’re actually spending a lot more money than it would cost us to buy a house,” she explained on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in 2022. “It’s my choice to figure out what we want to do right now.”

In an interview with TODAY last year, Meredith dismissed criticism about her decision: “So what, I rent luxury homes and live a beautiful life—so great,” she said confidently.

Since joining RHOSLC in 2020, Meredith has lived in several high-end rental properties. Last season, she stayed in a $3 million mansion, which was listed at $14,900 per month.

Balancing Business and Bravo Drama

Beyond her life on the show, Meredith remains focused on her various business ventures, including her successful jewelry line, a caviar collection, and her latest endeavor—launching a line of bath bombs.

Season 5 of RHOSLC premiered on September 18, bringing back fan favorites like Lisa Barlow, Heather Gay, Whitney Rose, Angie Katsanevas, and Mary Cosby. New faces this season include Bronwyn Newport, Britani Bateman, and Meili Workman. However, Monica Garcia from Season 4 did not return.

Drama Unfolds: The Feud with Whitney

The season kicked off with plenty of drama, especially at Lisa’s Besos party, where Meredith, Heather, and Lisa clashed with Whitney. The trio confronted Whitney after Lisa accused her of lying on a podcast, which led to a heated exchange. During the argument, Whitney took a jab at Meredith for renting her home, contrasting it with her own homeownership.

Meanwhile, viewers learned that Whitney and her husband, Justin Rose, recently purchased a new home. According to property records obtained by The U.S. Sun, the couple bought a six-bedroom, six-bathroom home in South Jordan, Utah, for $2.5 million earlier this year. This newly built home spans 7,000 square feet and is nestled near scenic trails and picturesque parks.

As RHOSLC continues to deliver high-stakes drama and luxurious living, fans can catch up on the latest developments as the Housewives take their trip to Milwaukee in tonight’s episode.
