Revealing the Truth: Erin Lichy’s Take on Marital Struggles with Abe, Brynn’s Role as a Pot Stirrer, Sai’s Calmness, Jessel Taank’s Loyalty, and Ubah Hassan’s Ideal Match, Oliver

On Tuesday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, Erin Lichy opened up about the financial issues with her husband, Abraham “Abe” Lichy, which had recently come to light.

Erin, 37, discussed how Abe had concealed their financial difficulties from her, including the sale of their Bitcoin, during an episode of The Real Housewives of New York City. On WWHL, she reflected on his reasoning and shared her thoughts on various show topics, like Brynn Whitfield’s penchant for stirring up drama, Sai De Silva’s more composed behavior, and Ubah Hassan’s relationship with Oliver Dachsel.

“It’s a confusing situation,” Erin admitted on the October 8 episode. “There were other things where Abe made decisions without me, and as partners, we need to communicate. That’s what really bothered me.” She added that some of the decisions involved substantial amounts of money. “He thought he was doing the right thing by not stressing me out, knowing I was already dealing with a lot, but ultimately, I’d rather have open communication.”

Abe, during a confessional, explained that his actions were intended to protect Erin, which didn’t surprise her. “That’s what he thought he was doing,” she acknowledged.

When asked about Brynn’s tendency to stir the pot in season 15, Erin was noncommittal about whether Brynn’s drama was excessive. “I think it depends on what she’s stirring,” she remarked.

She also shared her thoughts on Sai, 43, and her efforts to be more measured and less reactive. “Definitely. We all have moments of freaking out, but she’s trying and actively working on responding better,” Erin noted.

Erin then touched on her experience during her first appearance on Jeff Lewis’s radio show, where he made comments about Brynn’s finances and her alleged male supporter. She admitted to feeling pressure during that live broadcast. “It was my first time on live radio ever,” she explained. Reflecting on the fallout, where Sai called Brynn “Satan,” Erin thought Sai’s reaction was “a little far.”

When asked about Jessel Taank, 44, not backing her up regarding a joke she made about Jenna Lyons, 56, being “poor,” Erin expressed her frustration. Jessel, she felt, could have easily clarified the joke. “That’s why you saw that text where I said, ‘I’m so disappointed,’ which wasn’t the best choice of words. I knew she knew it was a joke, and she could’ve shut it down, but she was nervous, and I understand that,” Erin explained. “Still, I was a bit annoyed.”

During the episode, a fan questioned why Erin seemed to shade Staten Island when Brynn suggested she might be from there. Erin quickly refuted the claim. “Two of my best girlfriends from college are from Staten Island. I have nothing against it. I’m just not from there,” she clarified.

When asked if she had met Ubah’s boyfriend, Oliver, and believed he was “the one” for her, Erin responded enthusiastically. “Yes and yes,” she said. “He’s adorable. They’re truly perfect together. I’m so happy for her. It’s been amazing to see the change. She was single when I met her, and now she’s found someone, and everything is different.”

Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Erin addressed the state of Sai and Jenna’s friendship and the initial tension between them. “They’re friends. Maybe not best friends, but definitely friends,” she remarked. “I don’t think it was ever about them not getting along. Sai had heard things from the fashion industry and formed her opinion based on that.”
