Teresa Giudice and Daughter Gia Are on the Hunt for the Perfect Spot to Launch Their New Italian Restaurant!
Teresa Giudice isn’t holding back when it comes to critics who slammed her for using jarred sauce in a recent recipe. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has a response for the haters—she’s opening a restaurant, and she’s ready to prove them wrong.
The new venture is a true family affair, as Teresa’s business partner is her eldest daughter, Gia Giudice. The mother-daughter duo is currently “looking for locations,” with their sights set on New Jersey, Teresa’s home state.
With RHONJ on an extended break and uncertainty around when filming might resume, Teresa has found herself with extra time to focus on this new project. Gia, 23, has also shifted her plans, putting a hold on law school to pursue a more flexible career as a social media influencer, allowing her to join her mom in this new restaurant endeavor.
Teresa shared details about their business plans during an interview, coinciding with her much-anticipated appearance on Season 2 of House of Villains. The announcement even had some eager customers lined up already—Teresa’s castmates, Safari Samuels and Wes Bergmann, were quick to express their excitement.
Teresa and Gia Giudice’s Restaurant Dream Takes Shape
During an interview on the Virtual RealiTea podcast, Teresa spilled some hot tea about her new venture with Gia. When asked about the restaurant plans, Teresa’s enthusiasm was palpable.
“Yes, we’re looking into that,” she confirmed. “Yes, we’re looking for locations, so I’m really excited.”
She also took a moment to address the recent criticism of her cooking skills, challenging those who doubted her. “That’s why I’m like, ‘really bitches?’ Whoever said that my food was not good, come to my restaurant and we’ll see about that,” she declared.
Teresa’s House of Villains castmates, who were present during the interview, quickly voiced their support. Safari excitedly promised, “I’m definitely coming to the grand opening.” Wes Bergmann offered some advice, suggesting that Teresa stray from the typical Italian theme.
Teresa, however, had a unique twist in mind. “My husband’s Latin, so it could be Italian infused with Spanish,” she revealed, hinting at a fusion menu that could bring something new to the New Jersey dining scene.
Teresa Reflects on Her Time on House of Villains
In addition to her restaurant plans, Teresa also shared her thoughts on her time filming House of Villains. Despite initial hesitation due to the show’s title, Teresa found the experience to be a positive one.
“I was like, ‘What? I’m not a villain!’” she admitted. But after joining the show, she found herself grateful for the opportunity. “I had so much fun doing it. I met a lot of great people, great friends to me for a lifetime,” she shared. “I’m so glad I did it.”
Teresa’s upcoming restaurant venture and her positive outlook on new challenges show that she’s ready to turn criticism into motivation. As she and Gia work to bring their restaurant vision to life, fans—and critics—are sure to be watching.
