Margaret Josephs & Melissa Gorga Slam Ryan Boyajian’s Lawsuit Against Tamra Judge as ‘Mob Mentality.’
Real Housewives of New Jersey stars, Melissa Gorga and Margaret Josephs, are the latest Bravolebrities to share their thoughts on the ongoing controversy surrounding Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge. The drama centers on a cease and desist order filed by RHOC’s Jenn Pedranti’s fiancé, Ryan Boyajian, against Tamra Judge.
As previously reported, Ryan Boyajian issued the legal warning to Tamra after she made false accusations about him, claiming he was under investigation by the FBI for allegedly stealing $16 million from a Dodger player. Ryan warned that if Tamra continued making these statements, he would pursue legal action. This isn’t the first time Tamra has found herself in legal trouble over her remarks. She was famously sued by Alexis Bellino’s ex-husband, Jim Bellino, for defamation and lost the case.
Interestingly, Ryan has hired the same attorney that represented Jim Bellino. While Tamra has since issued public apologies for her comments, Margaret and Melissa are not on board with the legal route Ryan and Jenn have chosen to take.
Both Margaret and Melissa believe the lawsuit against Tamra Judge reflects a “mob mentality,” and they don’t agree with how Ryan has handled the situation.
On Melissa’s podcast, On Display, Margaret shares her thoughts with Melissa, saying, “This guy wants to sue her. You know, we’ve had so much on our show. It has not gone into lawsuits.”
Melissa quickly jumps in, adding, “Well, almost. Almost. Everybody was really getting antsy, right? Like it didn’t, thank God it did not. But everybody was wanting to. It got very ugly. And people wanted to, but it didn’t go that far. Do you know what I’m saying?”
Melissa goes on to explain how Bravo typically feels about cast members filing lawsuits. “When you start suing each other, first of all, guys, like learn from the Jersey girls—Bravo gets pissed. They do not like this. They like the drama to stay on camera, not behind the scenes, right?”
Margaret agrees wholeheartedly, expressing her discomfort with the situation. “I don’t like that. I’m not saying people don’t have the right to defend themselves—you can argue it out on the show or whatever it is—but it’s too much. I just don’t like it. Listen, our show was as dark as they come, and it didn’t even get to that level.”
Margaret then draws a comparison between Ryan and Jenn’s actions and a mob mentality, saying, “This is mob mentality, and it’s a gang-up, and it’s upsetting me. And I don’t like it.”
Melissa echoes Margaret’s sentiment, agreeing that the situation is very upsetting. Both women suggest that everyone involved needs to take a step back and calm down. Melissa also points out that the public isn’t getting the full picture when it comes to Tamra Judge, adding that she and Margaret feel particularly bad for Eddie Judge, Tamra’s husband, in the midst of all the chaos.
In the end, while Tamra’s comments were clearly out of line, Margaret and Melissa believe the response from Ryan and Jenn has gone too far. As Melissa aptly puts it, “Let’s keep the drama on-screen where it belongs.”
