RHOC’s Shannon Beador Fires Back at Tamra Judge and Heather Dubrow’s Shocking Remarks, Responds to Plotting Allegations, Karen Huger’s DUI Snub, Reunion Drama, and Jennifer Pedranti

On Thursday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, Shannon Beador opened up about the emotional sting she felt from Real Housewives of Orange County co-stars Tamra Judge and Heather Dubrow. She described feeling like she’d been “[slapped]” in the face by their comments, adding that Tamra had let out pent-up frustrations on her throughout the season.

While reflecting on Karen Huger’s claims that she’d ignored her after the DUI incident, Shannon also shared her thoughts on the recently-filmed reunion and stood up for fellow housewife Jennifer Pedranti.

Looking back, Shannon, 60, admitted she was hurt by Tamra and Heather’s remarks about her gifting them Burberry scarves during their trip to London. Both women had implied that Shannon should’ve used that money to repay her ex, John Janssen, for her facelift.

“First of all, there was a time when money was tighter because our show got extended,” Shannon explained on the WWHL: After Show. “But that’s not the case now. When I saw them say that, it hurt. I’ve been on the show for 10 years—it was my first time hosting an all-cast trip, and I wanted to do something special. So when they did that, it was like a slap in the face. It’s like, ‘I tried to do something nice. You wore the scarf twice, Tamra, so why [are] you cutting me down for it?’”

During the live broadcast of WWHL, Shannon also touched on Heather Dubrow’s reaction when the cast didn’t ask about her mammogram results. “We felt horrible,” Shannon admitted. “She was with [Gina Kirschenheiter], and when we heard the ‘yay,’ we assumed everything was okay.”

Shannon went on to reveal her belief that Tamra, 57, had her own unresolved issues that she took out on her throughout the season. “I agree—she’s not against me anymore,” Shannon said, acknowledging the strain in their friendship.

On RHOC that same evening, Tamra accused Shannon of feeding her off-screen information to bring up during filming. While Shannon didn’t exactly deny the claim, she made it clear she wasn’t interested in defending herself.

“I’ve been working on myself for the last year, and I’ve reached a point where I don’t feel the need to defend myself,” Shannon explained. “If people want to believe Tamra and think I’m orchestrating something, fine. I had good intentions, and I was so excited to host my first all-cast trip. I didn’t have any plans to manipulate things. If people want to believe Tamra, they can. I, and the people close to me, know the truth.”

Shannon was also taken aback by Karen Huger’s suggestion that she didn’t respond to her post-DUI outreach. “I don’t have that [message]. But I did get a text after her DUI that said, ‘I’m good, are you?’ or something like that. I thought it was fake,” Shannon explained. “I even asked some of the cast, ‘Do you think this is real?’ So, I apologize to Karen. I love her—we did Project Runway together.”

As the conversation shifted to the upcoming reunion, Shannon described it as “emotional, difficult, and … surprising.” She also came to the defense of Jennifer Pedranti, 47, who’s been told to “get a job.”

“She does have a job. She’s on the show,” Shannon pointed out. “And I really appreciate [Ryan Boyajian] stepping up. He brought her whole family in.”
