Ubah Hassan Opens Up About the “Nerve-Wracking” Side of Her Relationship with Boyfriend Oliver

Ubah Hassan, the stunning model and star of The Real Housewives of New York City, has revealed new details about her blossoming romance with her boyfriend, Oliver Dachsel. Fans of the show may remember Oliver, affectionately nicknamed “Mr. Connecticut,” from Season 14.

In a candid interview during her visit to Bravo HQ in September 2024, Ubah shared how it feels to finally go public with her relationship. Sitting alongside her close friend and co-star Sai De Silva, Ubah reflected on the joys of sharing her love story with the world.

“Honestly, it’s been so much fun because I’m a person who loves love,” Ubah beamed. “And it’s exciting to have girls who genuinely are happy for you. So, it’s been really fun sharing it.” Sai, seated beside her, smiled in agreement.

Is Ubah Ready for Kids with Oliver Dachsel?

Now that Ubah and Oliver are happily settled in their relationship, and with talks of Ubah potentially moving to his home in Greenwich, Connecticut, the next big question arises: Have they considered expanding their family?

While the couple hasn’t started trying for kids just yet, Ubah admitted that the idea of waiting too long does cross her mind.

“You know, it’s very scary,” Ubah revealed. “I have friends younger than me, and they’re having a lot of fertility problems. Every dinner conversation with girls is usually about, ‘I’ve been trying for two years,’ and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, you’re like five years younger than me.'”

Her concerns are valid, but thankfully, Ubah has a solid support system, especially among her RHONY castmates.

“I call Sai and Erin [Lichy], and they’re like, ‘Girl, relax. You need to relax… just have fun,'” Ubah shared with a laugh. “I’m not gonna lie, it’s a little nerve-wracking, but I have an incredible support system around me through friends and him himself. So, I don’t know. We’ll see. We haven’t started trying yet, so.”

Who Is Ubah Hassan’s Boyfriend, Oliver Dachsel?

For those curious about Ubah’s mystery man, Oliver Dachsel is a German investment banker and a managing director at Jefferies. Though Ubah kept his identity private when they first began dating during RHONY Season 14, he quickly earned the nickname “Mr. Connecticut” among her co-stars.

It wasn’t until October 2023 that Ubah went public with their relationship, allowing fans to see the man who had captured her heart.
