Tamra and Teddi Speak Out: “RHOP Cast Missed the Mark by Skipping Gizelle’s Heartfelt Event”
Two Ts In A Pod hosts Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp have a thing or two to say about the conflicting events on Season 9, Episode 2 of Real Housewives of Potomac. Gizelle Bryant and Ashley Darby had long planned their GnA event, with the cast accepting their invitations. However, at the last minute, Karen Huger invited the crew to watch her receive an award on the same day. Awkward! While the cast was conflicted, Tamra and Teddi have picked their sides on the matter. And it’s not with The Grand Dame.
Teddi said RHOP’s Stacey was “the only voice of reason” the day of the dueling events
It was a true dilemma for the RHOP cast on whose event to go to. Gizelle and Ashley’s event had partnered with the National Brain Tumor Society to honor Gizelle’s late father. Meanwhile, Karen was to receive a Femme Powered award. The cast decided to go see Karen first and then rushed over to Gizelle and Ashley’s. But they were too late. Gizelle called security to give them the boot.
Unsurprisingly, Tamra and Teddi were team Gizelle and Ashley. Teddi asked Tamra, “How do you feel when two Housewives events show up the same time?” Tamra was not a fan of what went down. She responded, “This actually upset me. Because Gizelle, you know, obviously her dad passed at this time less than a year prior to filming this.”
Teddi noticed the poor quality of filming at Karen’s event. She asked, “Did you realize that Karen’s event was filmed on iPhones?” But Tamra was still focused on who went where. Tamra said, “I was just upset that all the girls that were gonna go to support Gizelle and, you know, Ashley as well, that they didn’t show up until you know right when it was gonna end.”
Then Teddi brought up the line of the night from the episode. She said, “But when Gizelle said, “What is she being honored for? Running into a tree?” I honestly had to like pause the TV to catch my breath because I was like, OMG. Stacey [Rusch] seemed to be kind of the only voice of reason. Like, what the hell are we doing?”
Real Housewives of Potomac continues Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
