Mia Thornton, star of The Real Housewives of Potomac, is embracing new chapters in her personal life as she navigates motherhood, co-parenting, and her blossoming romance with boyfriend Incognito, also known as “Inc.” During a recent interview with The Daily Dish, Mia shared candid insights about her plans for expanding her family, her co-parenting dynamic with estranged husband Gordon Thornton, and her renewed focus on happiness.

A Future Family with Inc

Mia, 40, shares three children—Joshua, Jeremiah, and Juliana—with Gordon Thornton, but her current relationship with Atlanta-based radio personality Inc has her contemplating growing her family. The pair, who rekindled their romance in 2023 after first dating in high school, are open to having children together.

“Inc does want more children,” Mia revealed. “We’re gonna take our time, and I’m not opposed to having a surrogate, but he wants me to carry. And he wants to have two more, so pray for me.”

Despite the excitement, the couple isn’t rushing. “We’re taking our time, and when the time comes, we will make that decision,” she said. “I’m exploring options like freezing my eggs because, let’s be honest, my biological clock might have already tocked.”

For now, Mia is focused on enjoying her relationship with Inc. “We want to do things the proper way,” she explained. “We want to enjoy each other first, and then we’ll consider adding to our family.”

Co-Parenting with Gordon

Although Mia and Gordon announced their separation in 2023, they are working to create a stable co-parenting environment for their children. Gordon, who shares a close proximity with Mia by living in the same apartment building, remains an active part of their children’s lives.

“You know, co-parenting is co-parenting,” Mia joked. “It has its ups and downs, but I’m fortunate to have someone like Gordon, who’s a great father and is present in the kids’ day-to-day lives.”

Mia noted that while her new partner Inc is “in the mix” when it comes to navigating daily responsibilities, much of the parenting remains between her and Gordon. “At the end of the day, we’re their parents, and that’s where the primary responsibility lies,” she explained.

Gordon’s battle with Bipolar 1 has added complexities to their dynamic, but Mia shared that he’s made significant progress. “It took him a while to put his personal wants and needs aside and focus solely on the children, but I think he’s arrived at that place now,” she said. “This is his last set of kids, and he doesn’t want to miss a beat.”
