He introduced himself as the director of operations for professional sports venues and shared details about his upbringing on a farm, his love for soccer, baseball, and wrestling—all of which left a strong impression on Ashley.

After the event, the two shared playful moments, including a game of beer pong and a kiss, sparking hopes for a budding romance. In a confessional interview, Ashley admitted:
“I had to go with Josh. We could build a chicken coop, collect some eggs, and ride off into the sunset on a tractor. He really has an amazing energy.”

Josh also revealed that he had survived thyroid cancer at a young age, which Ashley saw as a testament to his maturity. She noted:
“Josh seems to be mature beyond his years. Whenever we talk, it feels like everyone else in the room disappears.”

Signs of a Rift

Recently, Ashley posted a cozy photo with Josh on her Instagram Stories, captioning it: “Did you guys enjoy meeting @gude132 on Sunday night?” The post fueled speculation that the two were still dating.

However, in a recent interview with The Daily Dish, Ashley hinted that their relationship might be over. When asked about her ideal partner, she responded:
“Maybe a guy who’s like, 40, right? Has a kid or two. Already been married. That would be kind of ideal.”

She also reflected on her finalized divorce:

“Even though I’ve been separated for two years, there’s always been a feeling that I’m still attached in a way. Now that’s officially ending, and I have freedom to do life my own way. I’m very excited to see what that looks like.”

A New Journey

Although her connection with Josh seems to have ended, Ashley remains optimistic about finding the right partner. Before the speed dating event, she expressed:
“I’m really looking for someone who has the qualities of a life partner—someone who’s family-oriented, understands responsibility and commitment, and, of course, someone attractive.”
