In the next episode of Real Housewives of Potomac Season 9, viewers will witness the tension rise as the ‘Wives are pulled in two directions with double-booked parties in different parts of Washington, D.C. Gizelle Bryant and Ashley Darby are hosting a GnA party to launch their new athleisure brand, while Karen Huger is also hosting a “Femme Powered Party” at the same time. The ‘Wives attempt to attend both events, making them late for Gizelle and Ashley’s party, much to Gizelle’s displeasure.

As the party had already begun at 7 PM, Ashley received a FaceTime call from some of the ‘Wives — Mia Thornton, Wendy Osefo, Keiarna Stewart, Stacey Rusch, and Jassi Rideaux — who were together in a car. “We wanted you to know that we’ll be there to support you,” Jassi said. But when Ashley asked about their arrival time, Jassi responded they would get there around 8 or 8:30, which worried Ashley, as the party was set to end at 9 PM.

Tension Builds as the ‘Wives Try to Manage Their Time

After the call ended, Stacey expressed concern about their late arrival: “I said it before, we can’t get there at 8:30.” The ‘Wives calculated the distance between Karen’s event and the GnA party, with the driver informing them it would take about 24 minutes to travel between the two locations, further heightening their stress. Wendy, meanwhile, didn’t hesitate to mention D.C.’s notorious traffic during her confessional: “Have you ever seen D.C. traffic? Just text them and send your regrets because it’s not going to work.”

Wendy even suggested splitting the group up if needed so that some could attend each party. But the situation didn’t look promising, and when Ashley informed Gizelle that the ‘Wives would be arriving by 8:30, Gizelle couldn’t hide her frustration. She bluntly said that if they were arriving that late, they might as well not come at all: “They’re so rude. Not just rude, f-cking rude,” she vented angrily.
