Gizelle Bryant Reveals Karen Huger’s Shocking Phone Call Amidst Cheating Rumors

In a candid exchange on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast, Real Housewives of Potomac star Gizelle Bryant recently opened up about her “frenemy” Karen Huger’s infamous late-night calls, which have reportedly tapered off since Huger’s DUI arrest earlier this year. Gizelle, known for her “Reasonably Shady” podcast and quick wit, admitted with a laugh that she “actually misses” the unpredictable calls from Karen, noting that they were “a lot of fun” and full of spontaneous banter. She added, “You never know what you’re going to hear,” fondly recalling Huger’s spirited, alcohol-fueled conversations.

This season’s premiere delved into Karen’s DUI incident, stemming from a high-speed crash in March, which shocked her co-stars. In subsequent episodes, however, Huger has been vague about the incident. Jacqueline Blake, a “friend of” the cast, revealed that Karen’s calls often arrived around 3 a.m., sparking Bryant’s recollection of “tipsy talks” that Huger allegedly shared with the RHOP ladies, sometimes sharing more than intended.

The October 27 episode of RHOP added another layer of drama when Mia Thornton claimed she received a “butt dial” from Karen after a night out in Washington, D.C., suggesting infidelity on Karen’s part due to the presence of another man during the call. While Karen’s husband, Ray Huger, remains steadfastly supportive, questions linger about her mysterious “driver,” who’s been nicknamed “Blue Eyes” by the cast and has long been a source of speculation.

Despite the scandal, Bryant says she believes Karen’s involvement with “Blue Eyes” is “in the past.” As the season unfolds, Karen’s legal troubles may prove a pivotal plotline. In July, she requested her DUI case be dismissed, though the final decision remains with the court.
