Reunion Drama Alert: Vicki Gunvalson Anticipates Tamra Judge’s Strategic Move as RHOC Fans Turn Against Her
Tamra Judge has built her reputation by being outspoken and stirring up drama among her co-stars on The Real Housewives of Orange County. Throughout Season 18, she has clashed with Shannon Beador and Jennifer Pedranti, all while adding fuel to the fire to keep the drama alive for the rest of the cast. In many ways, Tamra acts like a producer behind the scenes—pushing storylines forward—even if she doesn’t officially hold that title. While some may find her exhausting, there’s no denying that Season 18 would have been much quieter without her presence.
Now that the reunion episode has been filmed, many fans are curious about whether Tamra will face accountability for her actions, or at least if she came prepared to confront her co-stars and address the tension.
Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra’s former best friend and former RHOC co-star, has shared her thoughts on how she thinks Tamra might approach the reunion drama. During a recent episode of My Friend, My Soulmate, My Podcast, Vicki speculated whether Tamra would “come in strong” or opt to apologize, perhaps even shedding some “fake tears.”
“I don’t think she is going to come in guns-a-blazing because she has done that in the past,” Vicki noted, suggesting that Tamra might take a different approach this time.
But can Tamra truly bounce back from the criticism she’s faced this season?
Vicki highlighted that Tamra is “already one of the most hated Housewives right now,” and suggested that her former friend might seek “forgiveness” from her co-stars. However, there’s a catch—since filming wrapped, Tamra has shown little sign of backing down. In interviews, she has continued to defend her actions, even accusing Shannon of being skilled at playing the victim. She mentioned that, if she were just a viewer, she might even sympathize with Shannon, but her perspective as a cast member is quite different.
Tamra tends to operate in extremes, but recent comments from Andy Cohen suggest that she may have tried to smooth things over during the reunion. According to Cohen, the reunion remained “calm” until Alexis Bellino’s segment, which implies that Tamra might have attempted to repair her relationships with Shannon and Jennifer. The real question is whether Shannon and Jennifer were open to reconciliation, given their previous frustrations over Tamra’s cycle of apologies followed by more drama.
In the end, there comes a time when you have to decide who to forgive and set boundaries with those who repeatedly cause hurt.
Meanwhile, Vicki’s remarks about the reunion suggest that she may not have been included in the event. It seems increasingly likely that her time on RHOC has come to an end. Despite making a few appearances this season, Vicki revealed that producers had hoped she would stir up conflict with three of the Housewives. Yet, since she wasn’t a full-time cast member, she chose not to engage.
With RHOC cutting scenes featuring some legacy cast members, it’s possible that even Vicki’s brief appearances might be minimized. While a premiere date for the reunion has yet to be announced, it’s expected to air within the next month as Season 18 draws to a close.
