Revealing the Truth: Sai De Silva Confronts Brynn Whitfield Over Leaked Text Regarding Jessel on RHONY Amid Ongoing Feud

Sai De Silva didn’t hold back after Brynn Whitfield leaked a shady text about their fellow cast member Jessel Taank during the Real Housewives of New York (RHONY) season 15 premiere. Sai took to Instagram to provide some much-needed context for the text message, which wasn’t fully explained on the show.

During the premiere, Brynn read a text from Sai that said, “F*** you [Jessel] and your Dory from Finding Nemo look-alike husband too.” Interestingly, Jessel didn’t have much of a reaction to the message during the episode, leaving viewers wondering about the backstory.

Sai, however, was quick to address the situation on her Instagram, where she clarified, “I just wanted to give some context because there’s absolutely no context to that message.” She explained, “One, I was mad as hell, okay? And when I’m mad, I have a horrible mouth. It could be very lethal, and I’ve been keeping it very PG.”

She went on to reveal that the message was from last year, long before her relationship with Jessel had improved. “But I was fighting with Jessel last year. This message was last year,” Sai shared. “We all know since then, me and Jessel have made up and moved on. I sent that message to Jessel in a group chat. So, everyone saw it, including Jessel. It wasn’t like I was talking behind her back. I was talking to her face.”

Sai also pointed out that she has since apologized to Jessel. “And me and Jessel are in a really good place. I love Jessel. But I wanted to give you guys some context of exactly where that message came from. I have no idea why it was read. It shouldn’t have been.”

In a 2023 interview with ET, Sai addressed Jessel’s claim that she is a ‘mean girl.’ Sai disagreed with the label, explaining, “I think when people hear honesty, it really does hurt their feelings at the end of the day, and it could come off in a way where I am being mean; but I’m definitely not a mean girl, not one bit. I’m just a very honest person. I’m a girl’s girl. She knows that at the end of the day.”

At the time, Sai also shared that while she and Brynn were still “cool,” they were no longer as close as they once were, saying they were no longer “best [friends].”
